Disability makes us Stronger -David Power-

¡Hello all! I am David Chávez Trujillo, a survivor of gun violence and a wheelchair user, I am also part of El Salvador's javelin throw team. The idea of ​​starting this project arises in first place due to the Covid-19 crisis. There are more than 410.000 people with disabilities and our living conditions are minimal.

I have a friend named David Castro, he is a disabled person just like me;   He is also victim of gun violence and we are both survivors of gunshots. But my condition is very different to my friend’s David Castro, we may both be survivors of armed violence, but his situation is more difficult because to survive he has to sell products on the street, but due to the Coronavirus crisis it has been even harder; So with the help of a friend we came up with the idea of starting this campaign to help David and at the same time bring food to people with disabilities that we know. At the time we started it, we had not the crisis of Tropical Storm Amanda and Cristobal that leaves us more vulnerable.

Together we want to take donations to other people who have asked us for help in this crisis and emergency of COVID-19 and the storm.  Needs are: groceries, adult diapers, probes, ointments for body sores, and wheelchairs. This will also benefit  my friend David so he can continue selling his products but also improve his lifestyle a bit.
