Online journal of scientific humor "Proceedings of the Tea Club" (PTC)

Hello! My name is Yevgeny Lubyanitsky, I am a founder and permanent editor of PTC since 1986. Then, at the provincial research institute of chemical technologies, young scientists at the daily tea table discussed the problems of thermodynamics and kinetics in the fly-elephant system, the formation of pricing trends in fiction, and many others that did not meet the requirements of the All-Union Socialist Competition.

The first five articles - the results of these studies were combined into the typewritten first volume of the PMC. To continue such research, we did not have the guts. But when the Internet appeared in the research institute in 1998, I posted the first volume of the PMC on the website of the same name, which was read by a young generation of scientists. Were published and the results of their research.

Even the Nobel laureate Andre Game became interested in the site. We published his article, awarded the Shnobel Prize.

However, the rapid development of Internet technologies and the advent of modern gadgets has led to the obsolescence of a site written "on a knee".

Now I am looking for investors to update the PTC website. As our "ancestor", professor of biopsychology at the University of Michigan, James McConnell, wrote, I really hope that if we succeed in instilling in the young generation the ability to laugh at ourselves, we can hope to turn science back into Science!

I particularly hope for grants from Japan, the host country of this platform: on the old site https://e-lub.net/annuals/asom.htm posted a publication by a team of Japanese authors - Masateru Uchiyama, Xiangyuan Jin, Qi Zhang, Toshihito Hirai, Atsushi Amano, Hisashi Bashuda and Masanori Niimi. :-). The funds I hope to raise will be used to redesign the site https://teaclub.e-lub.net, a new domain name and more powerful hosting.
