I've Lost Mama: Help me Have a Brighter Future!

Hi, everyone!

I am Andrew Rick Garcia, a 9-year-old kid from Quezon City, Philippines. If you want to help and know about my story, please keep on reading. I was born on November 23, 2011. I started schooling at the age of 5 at Bresee Hope Academy, a school near our house.

Mama Had Breast Cancer

Last December 2014, my mama was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since my mama cannot work because of her sickness and my dada had to take care of her, we were having a hard time to make an income. All of our money were spent for my mama's medication and treatment.

After 2 years battling with breast cancer, on August 31, 2016, my mama died. This is how I remember my very dear mama.

Dada is having difficulties to support my education

Now, my dada is the only one who provide for my education and it is not enough to support me. Also, because of this pandemic, my dada had lost his job and he had no income for 3 months.

I'm a Good Student, Help Me to the Next Grade 3

This coming July, I would like to enroll to continue studying as a Grade 3 student. I know I have a long way to go but I will take it one year at a time. I really love to go to school, to study and play with my classmates. I study hard and I am a consistent honor student in my school.

How I Will Use Your Money

When you help me, I will make sure that the money I will be earning here will be spent for my tuition fee, books and uniforms. When you help me, you are not only making my dream come true, but also my mama's. When you help me, you are also helping my single dad provide education for his son.

Despite of this hardship, I want the world know how I love my family. Thank you for reading my story.
