I am going to study at the AVA therapy center for a "special" son.

Hello! My name is Anna Degtyar, I am 37 years old and I am from Ukraine, Cherkasy.

My son Denis is 8 years old. He is a special, wonderful boy (atypical autism). At 5, he learned to walk. And now our main goal is to learn him to understand and explain. And be independent.

To do this, we want to go to study in a special correction center for the ABA therapy system in Kiev. Minimum recommend studying - six months. Ideally, the year. Then there will be a result. The main goal is to teach my special son to independence and speech. At least so that he can be explained by means of Pecs cards. Sometimes something hurts him, but he cannot even show where. It really worries me.

In the development of communication skills, we will be helped by classes at the development center for special children using the techniques of ABA, TEACCH, Tomatis, Peks and others. We also continue to do massages and practice with the son of exercise therapy, so that he improves his walking skills.

The cost of training in the center, which we have chosen is much lower than in others. 350 dollars per month. Other centers from 700 dollars/month and above.

Payment is monthly. Therefore, Denis will go to school, while there will be enough money.

We have previously dealt with the development of our son. Since he has a strong developmental delay. And almost all the money that my husband and I earned, we spent initially on the diagnosis of delay, and after the diagnosis we spent on the development of fine and large motor skills. Private lessons with a psychologist for autistic children, a specialized nanny who conducted physical and intellectual classes.

Now my husband and I are unemployed due to quarantine. The company went bankrupt and there is little income, since I got a job as a photographer. But this money is barely enough for food and a communal apartment. And we need to continue and develop our son, then there will be a result.

We are advised to go to the development center of such children in Germany. But for now I want to at least take a course in Kiev.

We will spend all the funds raised exclusively to pay for the training of our beloved little son.
