Travel funds to attend Miss Career Africa Bootcamp in Rwanda

Hello,

I am Prudence Maloka, a young woman born in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. I currently live in Midrand, a suburb in the bustling city of Johannesburg.

I am extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and am in the final year of study towards a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. I am hardworking, dedicated, proactive, and I believe in the power of entrepreneurship to uplift communities worldwide!

I started “The Networking Cocktail Event” project, help the unemployed to get more skill.

I started a project called “The Networking Cocktail Event” under the company Rave About Us Events which aims to encourage entrepreneurship in all forms by creating a platform where new and aspirant entrepreneurs can gain access to knowledge, markets, networks, and capital; because access to these resources significantly mitigates the risks of not establishing a new business.

My project enables unemployed participants to turn a talent, skill, or untapped opportunity, into profit and fulfillment; while lessening unemployment.

The project brings entrepreneurs and influential corporate companies under the same roof to network, share experience, and turn business ideas into reality. If we can form consortiums whose shared goal is to mitigate unemployment, we can conquer it!

I will participate in Miss Africa Career Competition in Rwanda

To further this cause I entered the Miss Career Africa Competition; a competition powered by Micro-lend Australia that is focused on the professions, academics, entrepreneurship, and talent of young women all over Africa.

I made it to Top 50 in Africa and was invited to the next stage of the competition which takes place in Kigali, Rwanda from the 23rd of November 2020 until the 27th of November 2020.

Being crowned Miss Career Africa will mean that I will get funding for the project “The Networking Cocktail Event”, receive leadership training, entrepreneurship incubation development, and career guidance.

I am seeking support for the transport fees from South Africa to Rwanda

The airfunding project is to raise funds for my plane ticket. I am a final year student doing a Bachelor's in Business Administration. I am a junior intern at Experian, holding a position of a Business Information Researcher, I have stopped working since Mid March this year(2020) and have not been getting any kind of stipend/income till date due to this pandemic (Covid-19) which everyone in the world is currently facing. This has made it very difficult for me and will not be able to raise the funds by myself.

Accommodation and meals have been paid for by the Miss Career Africa Committee but I need to pay for all transport fees from South Africa to Rwanda (including internal travels).

I need an amount of $650.00 to fund this, which I need to raise by the 20th of November 2020.

Please help me to achieve my goal of eradicating unemployment by donating to this project.
