Hello, My name is Janaina and I live on rent with my 77 year old mother, in Macaé- Rio de Janeiro, ??. We left our own home because my father suffered a stroke and the environment was inappropriate to care for a sick person. In 2019 I had to stop working to take care of my mother too. I and my sister are taking care of two bedridden people and we have no income besides their. My father passed away (after being in bed for 22 years) and I have no way of continuing to pay for the rent. The option is to return to the old house. But I cannot place my mother in a house without a roof.
The electrical and hydraulic parts also do not work and basically only the walls are raised. Labor and material costs a lot in Brazil. I need help urgently so that my elderly woman can have peace and dignity and I can get up to continue taking care of her. Thank you for reading my story.
