I need to get my sight back. Please help me.

Hello everyone,

I am, Albérico Gutierrez Manzanarez, 71 years old, patient with chronic renal failure. I was diagnosed for 8 years, the first 3 years I had peritoneal dialysis, first manually and then with a machine. And for 5 years I have been on hemodialysis.

Currently, I am in the hemodialysis service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:00 a.m. through the public health system IMSS and I am no longer a kidney transplant candidate due to my age.

I'm losing my sight

I lost my sight in my right eye, in March 2019 after hip surgery because I had a stroke when my blood pressure rose. And I am here asking for your help to recover it through a vitrectomy.

I was going to have a vitrectomy at the IMSS, but when they scheduled me I had a hip dislocation and it was suspended, then the pandemic came and that hospital was assigned as a COVID hospital. Time passes and every day I see less. I need to do the surgery in a private hospital.

And my left eye is having a cataract so my vision for that eye is very weak. My mobility is also difficult after a hip surgery and things get worsened with my vision loss. I need your help.

Support for my medical treatment

The cost of a vitrectomy is $ 30,000 and cataract surgery is $ 18,000, both prices are Mexican pesos.
