Food for children from Peru

Hello, my name is Lady. People who know me knows that since 2009 I have been a volunteer in different NGOs to help children, single mothers or vulnerable places in Peru and also in Bolivia, but this year the unthinkable happened (a pandemic). Then I realized that there were many poor people in need in my city and every day it increases more because I can't even go out to work. The funds will be destined for a group of families that live on tourism since they are in the Andes of Peru at more than 4000 meters above sea level. It is called Amantani. The temperature is very cold in that region and children need to eat well more than adults. I have looked for a way to send them groceries and also clothes so that they can feed and make a common pot for all of them so that they can survive. By raising the money, I will be able to help a total of 25 to 26 families with food for 1 month. Aid to that region has not yet come from the government and they survive on crops, but children are the most affected by this situation. Vulnerable families who know that I am a volunteer have called me asking for help as groceries and in some cases also clothes (the cold in the Peruvian Andes is terrible) so I turn to the good hearts of people who can contribute a grain of sand to support these family of which I have knowledge.
