Donate Funding & Used Laptop for needy families in Singapore

Pandemic forced many students to attend Home-Based Learning

recently outbreak pandemic of Covid-19 was causing many companies in Singapore have retrenched their worker, same time the government have to encourage students to stay at home and attending Home-Based Learning (HBL),

Many families especially single parenting were got a hard time surviving their daily needs not to say buying a pricy laptop for their children for the purpose of learning.

Idea's Background

This project idea is coming from my friend, got once he intends to throw away a bezel's cracked laptop, I pick it up and have a look and notice this laptop is in repairable conditions, although it cracked it can be repaired and reload with Microsoft windows and office.

Myself during the young time I was a computer technician so that I know how to reload with those Softwares.

Once I decide to put it an online donation unexpectedly hundreds of parents and students were messaging me, I feel really bad as I only have a laptop to donate.

How the funds will be used

In order to free them with used laptop or desktop for their children learning usage, genuine windows and office need to be installed to ensure the legality, so this is where the idea to get the funding come from

In Singapore internet marketplace for windows or office genuine cd key cost about 20 dollars each.

the extra money I may purchase an old laptop from the marketplace user as long as they are willing to let go of a cheaper price or even free.

Help me to realize this plan

The intention may be good but I realize to carry out this plan it needs someone to donate their pre-owned laptop and also to ensure the legality licensing for using Microsoft Windows and Office I will need to buy it, luckily to buy a genuine cd key online is not expensive.

I hope with I open up this crowdfunding page, I can provide further help for them to reduce their burden during this pandemic period.

For the preowned laptop, I was posting it to local marketplace apps and social media hopefully some kind soul may willing to donate away their preowned laptop, at the same time I also hope I get some funding to buy some genuine software to support the students.
