Chef Megnon's Funeral and Memorial

Hi everyone,

My name is Lyneth Pansensoy from Pasig City, Philippines. I am the first cousin of Meg whom we know respectfully as Chef Maria Megnon Dael.

She is a very special person who touched so many lives to be encouraged, helped and served so many tourist and local customers when dining at her restaurant, the Bulalo Plaza in El Nido, Palawan. Everybody loves her and her food which she prepared and cooked with so much love and care.

Chef Maria Megnon Dael unexpectedly passed away, June 24th 2020 due to Cancer

There is nothing that can ever explain the loss of a kind-hearted, generous, selfless and helpful friend, colleague, mother, wife and family.

She will always be remembered of her hospitality and of her service as a Chef. She teaches and pass on her knowledge to aspiring chefs and encourages them that they can be the best with what they do and can do. She was and will always be greatly loved by countless family and friends.

We need your support for the memorial and funeral

On behalf of the family, in the most devastating and humble of circumstances, we have setup this fund raising campaign to help ask for any donations whatsoever to help ensure they're able to remember and celebrate Megnon's life with a memorial and funeral.

We are also helping to collect donations through PayPal.

The funds from this campaign will all directly go towards memorial and funeral expenses. The family suffered so much financial loss from her operation, medication and treatment as well as support services for Meg's children Pey, CT, Anton, Gibu and her husband Noel.

I understand, everyone is affected by this COVID-19 pandemic. This is a no pressure campaign and any amount is greatly appreciated.
