Uniter for Nery Aguilar

Nery Aguilar is an actor and director of a long tray, in Guatemalan theaters. Furthermore, he has been the trainer of many actors and actresses. Unfortunately, a diagnosis of diabetes has been going on for several years.

On February of this year, he suffered an infection on his leg, apparently the infection was cured. At the beginning of May the infection reappeared, but now to a higher degree, and it was due to the wrong diagnosis of two doctors. Nery’s health got worse, because an infection is now in all the upper part of the leg. 

On June 12 of this year, he was admitted to a private hospital, due to the pandemic that we are experiencing worldwide, he could not be taken to any public hospital, because there were already several people infected with the covid-19 virus . It would be very difficult for the family to pay for that hospital, but due to his health, it was urgent to transfer him to a hospital center.

Nery arrived at the hospital with altered behavior and shortness of breath, his health was deteriorating. Upon admission, he underwent physical examinations and laboratory studies. He was diagnosed with Decompensated Diabetes Mellitus type II, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Diabetic Foot and Sepsis secondary to diabetic foot, so he was admitted to treat him for the serious nature of the diagnosis. On admission to control the infection and not to continue running through his body, he was given several antibiotics that were quite expensive. This week he has undergone a very expensive treatment, to continue controlling the infection. 

Nery has been an extremely brave patient and is looking forward to a full recovery. Unfortunately the hospital bill has been increasing every day, to date they are due around Q80,000.00  

We are grateful to the Creator and life for the improvements Nery has brought, but we are greatly concerned about not having the money to pay the hospital bill. Precisely for this reason, the family and friends of the Guatemalan artist, we turn to this organization and to all the people with a good heart, to ask for donations and to be able to cover these expenses.
