Unemployed Magician because of COVID-19

My name is Zhengis. I’m a professional magician from Kazakhstan. I’ve been doing magic since 6 years old. I’ve been fond of the art of magic my whole life. I shared my art to 25 countries around the globe.

The pandemic impact on performers livelihood

All performers are affected by COVID-19 -- and, of course, me too. I haven’t performed since February, it means I don’t have nothing for living. All public events are prohibited by government in Kazakhstan. I’m struggling by minimum wage by giving some magic lessons, selling own tricks. But it’s not enough to cover my minimum costs (food, transportation, debts). I have a family with 2 little daughters.

We had 2 months worth of aid from government amounting to $100, but it was not enough. I tried to find another job, but we have unemployment now.
