I want to create a community station for our environment

Hello everyone,

My name is Julio César Ulcue, a last year student of Social Communication.

I am currently living in the surroundings of the sidewalk of Seville, Corregimiento de el Zarzal, Municipality of El Tambo, Department of Cauca in Colombia, constantly since I started my studies.

I am starting a community radio station.

I have had the concern to revert my knowledge to the community from which I've left many years ago. Moreover, now with the current situation due to the pandemic, it is imperative for them to have a radio station that can keep the community to stay informed on issues such as education, health campaign and disease prevention, culture, agriculture, religion, sport, gender, etc.

I have started to launched the test broadcasts using 10 watts radio station and few equipment for radio production. So far, the community expected it to be a proper broadcasts, if not definitive. There were many cases that some people in the remote places do not notice some information that is currently announced by loudspeakers and so the information didn't reach the entire community.

I need your support

My proposal is aimed to obtain the resources, however small they may be, to launch my community radio project as a definitive broadcasts in the next seven weeks.
