Helping Ale Chuy to beat cancer in a pandemic

Hello! I hope you are well, my name is Jenny Balcárcel, I am the partner, friend and unconditional support of a great man, Alejandro Chuy (Ale Chuy as we all call him), a 28-year-old Guatemalan, anyone who knows him knows that he is a Exceptional father, who gives his life for his son (Sebastián), optimistic and always ready to give a big smile despite anything.     Let me tell you a bit about his situation, on May 4 when the health emergency began to take over the world, Ale began to feel discomfort and changes in his body, his "normal" pain began to be stronger than usual.

During a medical appointment of our son Sebastían, who is currently 10 months old, we decided to go for a review with a urologist, since Ale's biggest discomfort was in one of his testicles due to a large increase in size in a short time. We arrived at an appointment and the first surprise was that he needed a series of exams and we without insurance, you imagine how hard it was for our economy and then our emotions when we knew that the results said, testicular cancer.   Urgently and the way we could, we collected the money to undergo surgery and remove the entire testicle, having the results of the biopsy confirmed what we feared, cancer, pure seminoma and swollen lymph nodes in the retroperitoneum, so saw it necessary to start chemotherapy treatment    

Due to the global situation Ale was suspended from his job, So clearly he does not receive a monthly salary and I do not have a stable job, being impossible to continue making payments such as rent, we had to vacate our apartment, thank God my in-laws received us At home, and in less than 15 days after the operation, a chemotherapy cycle needed to be started, we desperately searched for options in public hospitals, but this was the least safe option, with the increase in cases of people infected with COVID-19 and when doing chemotherapy the defenses go to the ground, so if Ale did not die waiting for him to be treated, surely from the virus if, not to mention that medical supplies for other illnesses other than the one that keeps the world isolated, are not being properly supplied nor promptly.    

We started to hold raffles and with the help of our relatives, siblings and parents we were able to advance in their treatment but we have not yet managed to complete what is necessary to cover medical expenses, we currently need to pay for the 3rd cycle of chemotherapy, the rest of exams, both blood like from a full body MRI and CT scans to find out what state your body is in and what will happen next. And the tests will continue for a while if they leave it in remission. So all the help is enormous, I appreciate your time, your prayers and blessings. Thank you
