Story of a fat liver

Hi, everybody. My name is Veronica Robles and I'm 26 years old. I'm a high school teacher and a writer in my spare times.

Since I was 14 years old, I have suffered from overweight and this has led me to subject my body to major slumps and gains since then.

I recently had my blood tested and diagnosed with fatty liver. This is because of my obesity.

I currently, weigh 154 kg and am 1.75 meters tall. As you can see, I am well above my ideal weight. What is causing my obesity, is that it is breaking down tissue in my organs and muscles.

I am doing this campaign so that I can have the gastric sleeve operation since it is the only way to be able to counteract the damage that my liver is suffering.

This operation consists of cutting out a part of the stomach to reduce the intake of food in order to live a healthier life and continue in a process of strict diet and exercise.  

The consequences of not having this operation range from having cirrhosis to generating diabetes in my body. This operation is urgent since I gained weight very quickly and I am not helping my body to be healthy.

I am grateful for any donation to start raising some money, since this operation costs 130 thousand pesos and it is an amount that my family and I, alone, cannot achieve.
