We ask for help for my Mom's kidney surgery!

Hi all,

My name is Rodolfo, I am 27 years old, I am Venezuelan and currently live in Argentina.

I am the son of Josefa Padilla and I need your help with my mother's medical needs.

My mother has kidney stones

The calculations are the size of a coin and this makes it impossible for them to be discarded in a natural way since due to their size, they cannot pass through the urinary tract.

By not having surgery, my mom is suffering from constant pain and urinary infections, apart from the risk of losing her kidney if she does not perform an urgent operation as soon as possible.

The economic crisis in Venezuela

My mother lives in Venezuela and I have lived and worked in Argentina for 4 years.

Venezuela is affected by a serious economic and social crisis. Hospitals are not working as they should and also an operation, which in other countries is simple like this, requires a lot of money because all costs (pre and post-operative exams, supplies, stay, and medical professionals) are borne by the patient.

The budget for the operation as such is $ 1,200 which was provided to us by the Red Cross of the city of Barinas (Venezuela) and to this, we must add the pre and post-operative exams (cardiologist, internist, chest plate, laboratory) that would add $ 300 more.

The salary of my mother and my sister together corresponds to 5 dollars a month and as much as I can help them being in Argentina, I don't have enough money to pay for the operation.

Help my mother to get the surgery

I would like to achieve the surgery of my mother Josefa Ines Padilla Vargas. She has been suffering from kidney disease for several months as a result of a stone of considerable size which she cannot pass on her own and which is affecting the functionality of her kidney

The funds collected will be used for my mother treatment, which will be used for:

- Pre-operative exams

- Performing the Surgery, and

- Purchase of Post-Operative medications
