Venezuela is going through a severe economic and political crisis, now exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The health centers are collapsed and receiving only highly critical patients. Venezuelans have been forced to leave our country, driven by a shortage of opportunities, in addition to personal and legal insecurity. Venezuelans' base salary per month is less than $ 4, making it impossible to collect that money from family and friends.

Mrs. Carmen does not have the resources to pay for said operation. The plan is to collaborate with her and her family through this project to alleviate the burden of locating this amount of money in a country (Venezuela), which is going through a deep and difficult economic crisis.

The cost needed is about $3,500

The pacemaker is a device distributed by authorized health centers for patients with heart failure. The team has a cost (including placement intervention) of $ 3,500 (US dollars). This also includes a pre-operative evaluation.

The entire humble family is focused on raising the money, which is why this collaboration is of great help. Mrs. Carmen Teresa and her husband of 90 years are pensioned by the Venezuelan social security, but the contribution they receive is not enough to guarantee their correct diet and medicines.
