Help Families with Autism Affected by Covid-19

How are you, Good Friends,

His name is Ridwan. He works as a construction worker. His wife works as a factory worker. They are the parents of one of the children, with autism in the Kudus branch of the Cinta Harapan Indonesia Foundation (YCHI), Central Java.

The Covid-19 pandemic that is happening right now has an impact on the economic condition of Ridwan's family. Ridwan lost his income, while his wife's working hours as a factory worker were also reduced. This all affects the income they earn.

Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on families with children with autism

Ridwan's family is one of at least 167 families with autistic children under YCHI assistance. And now, Ridwan's family and other families affected by Covid-19 need help to survive. They mostly work as day laborers such as construction workers, tobacco factory workers, domestic helpers, widows who do not work, and victims of layoffs.
