Barend's Groin surgical raise

Hi there, I am Henriette from south Africa.

We are trying to raise money for my dad for a groin surgical.

Suffer from Groin fracture from 2 years ago

My dad Barend Vorster a 47-year-old male that lives in Middelburg Mpumalanga needs to go for a groin fracture surgical.

The Groin fracture is almost for 2 years now and it became very big, painful and it gives some complications. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds available for him to do so.

Our salary was cut off due to the COVID-19

Our daily living expenses are being paid for by our salaries and with the COVID 19, me and my dad got a salary cut. My fiance is working but mostly the money is going for rent and other expenses. My mom is not working, She also has diabetes and struggling with her sugar levels and her feet.

My dad has been walking for more than 2 years with a groin fracture and urgently needs to go for surgical as it is giving complications and he is in a lot of pain, I have asked for quotes and the expenses for undergoing surgical is a lot that we cannot afford at the moment.

Usage of the funds

We are trying to raise funds for him to go for his surgical procedure. The surgeon, the hospital, the anesthetic, the pre-operation check, and the COVID test .altogether is around R40.000 (about US $2,300) that is not available from our side at this moment., which estimated of usage is explained below:

R800 for pre-operation consultation

R850 for COVID test

R5520 for surgical

R4042 for anesthetist

R25 738 for hospital fees

I am now humbly asking and knocking on anyone's kind heart for any help that you can extend to my family. Any amount will be deeply appreciated and definitely be of help. We will use any amount collected for the sole purpose of my dad's Surgical treatments.

We need this operation to happen ASAP. we will use all the funds for the fees that need to be paid.
