Hi! My name is Gabriela Ignacio, I have lived in the Sacred Valley for 3 years with my partner Gabriel Marcos and our pets, who in total are 5 dogs and 3 cats.

I, Gabriela Quicaña Ignacio, am 26 years old.

I was born in the city of Lima, Jesús Maria, Peru. I am, particularly, a cat lover. I love them.

And about Gabriel

He, Gabriel Jose Marcos Rodriguez is 25 years old. He was born in the city of Maracay, Aragua state, Venezuela. All his life, he was surrounded by animals and he always feel good in their company ... especially dogs.

He left Venezuela on September 20, 2015

Our life in Lima, Peru

Since 2 years ago we live in Lima. At that time we adopted Wafle and shared many trips with her. One of those trips was El Valle Sagrado, in the town of Calca. Wafle was pregnant because of our carelessness and that fact had altered our whole journey since then.

At that time Gabriel and I were able to get ahead going through new and complicated situations with the puppies, so we looked for a rent (where we currently reside) to offer our puppies and cats a good life as much as possible.

We managed some tourist activities during that time, the situation was gradually getting better. Those activities comply with our expenses for having this type of family. A family that with your help will overcome this adversity.

Now I will tell you about them:

Wafle

Wafle is a fat beautiful girl. She is the mother of the following 3 puppies.

Seshat

Seshat is the loud-speaker who wakes us up every morning

Maíz

Maíz is the lazy one who apparently never does anything

Thot

Thot is the spoiled mad pal who always does mischief

Caraota

Though Caraota is shy, she is the abandoned little dog who followed me home from a very young age.

Everyone has a diet rich in cookies and beef as we as long walks to run and be free. Because we live in a countryside, we decided to have a couple of cats since there are many rodents.

Casimiro is a boy who has left his mother to go home.

Shifu

Shifu, an extremely loving cat

Why do we ask for your help?

Many think it is a zoo, in fact it is!

Beyond that, it is a family, of animals ... but a family full of love. They are all sterilized, except Shifu, that is another issue to solve since she is pregnant. Another issue which we could not get done due to the lost jobs and our current economy situation.

My problem:

We always thought we would be capable to stay together but unfortunately due to the situation (COVID-19) we have lost our jobs, we have tried as much as possible to generate income ... but with the measures that have been imposed, our sector has collapsed.

This has caused us to live from our savings and we have already run out of reserves. The expenses keep coming and we owe a couple of months already.

We've done our best to comply with their diet, but currently we have only 1 bag of dog food (to survive for less than 1 month) and 1 bag of cat food (for 1 month)

How could I go back to the normal life?

The problem Gabriel and I are facing is complicated. Gabriel does not have a job and neither do I and we are already broke, I need your support.

With your support, I could ensure food and a place to stay for all of us, and also some money for us to move forward and meet the needs corresponding to the decisions we've made.

It is our decision to keep our pets and to stay together despite the world situation.

In the worst case...

We do this because this month the house rent must be paid. If we don't pay it, we have no means to move the dogs with us and even worse: we have nowhere else to go.
