Help my mother to win the fight over Breast Cancer

Good day everyone!

My name is John Yu from Philippines, knocking at the door of your good hearts and humbly asking for your help for my mother Felisa Yu.

Battling breast cancer stage 2B

My mother is currently battling breast cancer stage 2B. She is a Senior citizen and was diagnosed to have malignant breast cancer on her right and ER-PR-HER2+ last 2019.

Due to her Philhealth's membership, she was able to avail program to cover-up the bills for her 6x Chemotherapy sessions which were started last January and completed last July 2020 at Philippine General Hospital (PGH), we were quite grateful as the Philippine government has this program which is a tremendous help for Filipinos who are fighting against cancer. At this moment, we are waiting for her surgery to be scheduled soon to remove her right breast.

However, she also needs to undergo 18-cycles of Herceptin therapy every three weeks as she is ER-PR-HER2 positive. She was able to complete 2 cycles last May and June but it has been more than a month since the last session due to lack of funding.

Help us to continue the treatment

We have had asked for medical assistance from the government like Malasakit program and PCSO but it was not enough because of the impact of this Covid-19 pandemic to our healthcare system.

The cost of Trastuzumab to be used for each cycle is PHP 34,000 or around $690 USD and we are struggling financially where to get this amount to support her medicinal needs as there are still 16-cycles to be taken.

I am hoping that this project will help raise funds for the next sessions.
