I want my mom to undergo Chemotherapy.

Hello,

My name is Victor Lemayian. I'm 27 years old and a Kenyan citizen

I am here seeking assistance for my mother's cancer treatment.

My mother fight with breast cancer since 2017

My mom, Agnes Leleshwa age 47 years was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2017.

She underwent surgery a few days later and was put under medication since then.

Cancer spread to another area

She underwent surgery to remove her right breast where the lump was. She went through 6 sessions of chemotherapy and 15 of radiotherapy with the last one done late 2019. She was attending all clinics at the Kenyatta National Hospital Nairobi where she was receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We spent approximately $ 4,000 USD for hospital bill throughout that period.

It was 3 weeks ago when she had difficulty breathing and could not access the National Hospital since she stays in the countryside and due to the strict CoronaVirus lockdown in Kenya at that time she was not allowed to move to a different county.

When the intercounty lockdown was lifted, she came to see her doctor as usual and was recommended for a C.T scan in her chest and abdomen. She was found to have a massive pleural effusion in her right lung.

The Cancerous cells have spread to the lung area, liver and one of her backbone as the CT scans revealed 8th July 2020. The doctor has prescribed for more chemotherapy starting the first cycle from 4th August 2020.

Help me to continue my mother cancer treatment

I am worried since we are out of money to cater for her treatment. The previous surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy consumed the little we had.

Coming from a humble background, with siblings of four, I as the firstborn would request to kindly ask for your assistance in raising this fund. The total hospital bill for all the sessions amounts to $ 3,800 USD.

Any amount contributed will be appreciated with a happy heart and gratefulness. Currently, I've managed to raise $ 600 USD from friends and family.

The funds are required as soon as possible. To be specific before the end of September 2020.
