For my father who's undergoing hemodialysis.

Hi everyone. 

I am Allen Calvez, and this project of mine is for my dear father undergoing hemodialysis. 

He is Mr. Roberto Calvez, a 67 year old hypertensive patient with a history of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Pleural Effusion, who is having his hemodialysis 3 times a week since June of 2017. 

We live in Alfonso, a small town of the province of Cavite, in the Philippines, together with my older sister and retired mother. Our daily living expenses are being paid for by our salaries and with the retirement benefit of my mother. 

We were able to get by with his hemodialysis and consultations and admissions for the past years through the help of PhilHealth, which is a government corporation attached to the Department of Health that provides health insurance coverage for all. However because of the limited hemodialysis coverage per person per year, it cannot cover or pay for the entirety of the treatment annually. We now need to shell out money for his hemodialyzer (which can be used up to 7-8 sessions), his treatment cost per session and his Epoetin shot every hemodialysis. That is aside from my father's maintenance prescription and diagnostic laboratory procedures which are not covered by PhilHealth at all. 

That is why I am now humbly asking and knocking on anyone's kind heart for any help that you can extend to my family. Any amount will be deeply appreciated and definitely be of help. We will use any amount collected for the sole purpose of  extending my father's precious time with us through his hemodialysis and treatments.
