REMOTE LEARNING IN THE PHILIPPINES

The world is truly suffering from the COVID-19 Virus. A lot of businesses closed down and too many poor to the poorest don’t have the means to get a decent job to eat properly.

I know that it’s not the best time to do this but I have to try. Education is a very important thing to me. And with this, the children are not allowed to go to school and we have so much illiterate kids because of poverty. But I want to help those who are deserving and achievers.

Tablets for the students

I did my own charity drives previously and recently had my giveaways on my YT Channel and FB open to all or public. (JEREMY JUN)

I want to help more people to access knowledge through e-learning. I have given 2 tablets already but I’ve realized I want to help more. I cannot do it without the help of other people and my funds are depleting too for helping a lot of people from the PPE’s for COVID Frontliners and other people who are on the streets begging for help.

How the funds will be used

My plan is to collect funds and possible sponsors first. I would ask in FB LIVE to email me “Why Do I Deserve to Get A Gadget” they must convince me by telling me and some pictures if possible their achievements and how eager they want to join the remote learning in their school

I am getting a lot of messages and showing their achievements hoping to get helped. It’s a struggle to learn right now and get prepped because remote learning is more on gadgets usages such as laptops, tablets, or widescreen phones. Not all of them can afford new gadgets that are suitable for e-learning knowing food is already an issue and definitely, these gadgets are not a priority.

I planned to buy around 15-20 pcs of cheaper tablets with the fund and buy more with my own money to help more kids or even adults (college level)

But as an achiever myself, I don’t want this pandemic to be a hindrance to keep on learning.

I always believe that poverty and even this virus could stop one to progress especially if the person is more than willing to fight ignorance.
