Another " Kofi Annan" can emerge from these children

Hello everyone,

I am Joshua Okyere-Twum, a Ghanaian teacher who loves helping school children around my community.

I would like to help poor children in my community and its surroundings with textbooks, exercise books, pens, and pencil, etc

Support the student in Kumasi

I live in Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Here, poor students find it difficult to get money even though for books and buying textbooks.

I would like to get assistance to the little I have to support them by buying these materials for them, to raise great men for the future

My salary is not enough to support them

most times, I assist poor and needy students with textbooks and writing materials almost every year, but during this time, my salary as a teacher is around $350 a month and so raising enough funds is very difficult.

Now many schools and parents contact me for assistance but I can not meet all the demands that are why I apply for a project in Airfunding. Currently, I am supposed to provide about 300 children with textbooks.

Each textbook costs Ghc30 equivalent to $5.2. Therefore for the 300 students, I will need $1560. I have personally saved $400 and need around $1200 to support mine.

If it is possible, I would like to have these important funds the latest by 30th August 2020 since basic schools will be resuming the first week in September 2020.

I promise to buy the books immediately I get the funds to support these children around.
