My 6-month old daughter needs to undergo heart surgery.

Hope you're all well in this time of pandemic and thank you for asking the condition of our little sweet Ara. She is in great shape - for now.

My daughter was diagnosed with down syndrome

When she had her check-up last week, her Pedia mentioned she's well. She suggested and referred for a 2D-echo just to make sure everything's in shape.

This morning is a hopeful morning. Though doubtful to go because of the pandemic, we brought her to the laboratory. we were surprised, that we thought this day is a nightmare, we wanted to wake up. Just as her Ate Ianna weep as we told her, as their parents we need to be strong.

Necessary to do an open heart surgery

Our Ara needs open-heart surgery due to Congenital Heart Disorder, Atrioventricular Septal Defect, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

I have great regard for those who are striving hard at these challenging times. But for our Ara, we have to strive even more. We are now down and humble asking for any donations, referrals, financial assistance.

About $10,000 - $15,000 is needed

We're raising funds for heart surgery and we need $10,000 - $15,000. That is around 500,000 - 700,000 in Philippine Peso. My husband's take-home pay will be reduced by 20% this coming Sept. as company protocol for covid19. So he will be receiving 3,000. pesos every 15days and that's the only earning we have. There is no way we can reach that amount of money for the operation except for crowdfunding.

Heart operation requires a lot of confirmatory tests and the actual payment for the hospitals and lodging. We lived in the province and operation will be in the city so we really need financial supports for the hospital bills, plane fare, and transportation, accommodation, etc. We can not rely so much on charity because there are already other cases falling in line in charities and my child's case is urgent that is why we are having this crowdfunding.
