Help buying food for families in Galapagos Island in Ecuador

Hi, I'm Tamara and I'm 19. I am a humble person, which always has liked to help since I also have received help in my more difficult moments, I am young and with a desire to go out ahead, I like the animals and I have many, I am orphan of father, I lost it to him more than 10 years ago and this way with my mother and two brothers we have gone out ahead on the basis of work, I have worked since I was a child with my mother and I like to sell food at home, I love tourism and I work in it, I am a travel agent in the Galapagos Islands, Santa Cruz to be exact and I am willing to get help for my community which is vulnerable. Since March, most of us have been out of work due to the closure of airports and businesses because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which directly affected the economy of thousands of families as we live from tourism; in this case, work is very scarce and there is not enough food for the families who live in poverty and are very vulnerable.

The benefit is for a small group of vulnerable people in my community, about 20 families with whom we have devised a plan for recovery since the Coronavirus pandemic has been limited to airports and tourism under notorious to anything, Galapagos sustained by the visit of thousands of tourists in the world to visit our laboratory of natural evolution and because of this, there is no longer anyone who comes. Due to the lack of tourists, sailors, naturalist guides, souvenir shops, food stores, restaurants, and fairs have closed, and if there is no work families do not have the money for personal hygiene products, food and more. The benefits are the families have something to eat in their hands and shorten the suffering.

I am trying to raise at least $800 to buy staple foods. Thank you very much for reading my project.
