Who am I?

Hi! Best known as Juliana Tavera Ph, 28 years old, Colombian based in Chile, and I have been an empirical photographer since 2013. I’ve been in love of the art of photography because I can help society to get a better image about ourselves through portraits and pleasant moments that reflect the inner and outer beauty of each one.

My Story

I consider myself a self-taught person, who loves to learn every day, but you know it’s so hard to start a project, especially if you have not support and then you are so worry about getting money to pay a rent or buy some food. So that’s th reason why I have had to put photography aside and work at differents occupations but not photography.

At the beginning of this year 2020, I finally decided to forge my photographic career no matter the circunstances, betting to my experience, and I got a job in a photography studio for 15 wonderful days before the Covid-19 pandemic arrived in Santiago de Chile and all trade was paralyzed, among that, the studio. Everything closed, I was left without a job but with savings. However, I did not let myself down. I have taken advantage of all these months of quarantine to rest, learn, practice, meditate on what I want, and strengthen my thinking. So I made a desicion. Faced with the fear of a terrible world crisis, I want to take a risk: to be a photographer and follow my dream of making this world more beautiful with my eyes.

Help me with...

I want to buy a lighting studio set to place it in my home, and other equipment (tripod, filters, etc.) to complement my requirements for the moment, have a better production in the projects and improve the quality of care for my clients. Thanks to this I will be able to start many personal projects that I have in mind, and give color to this world that little by little has deteriorated with so much tragedy worldwide.
