Help us promote mental health awareness through our Quarantine Film

If the world was ending, you'd perhaps want to help us out in funding our short film. ;)

The world has come to a pause recently due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19); people lost jobs, families got separated, loved ones are gone too soon. We were imposed a new reality we can't quite fathom.

This is why, in an attempt to create solace amidst the chaos, we have developed a story that will give a unique vantage point on being in isolation. We are diving into a solitary struggle, deafening silence, maddening noise, certain and despair, and eventual triumph.

A movie about mental health awareness

We are Marini Fernandez and Juanita Romualdez, two friends ready to embark on this special journey to tell our story through film.

We are currently commencing prepared for our short film about the mental effects of quarantine, it is a project that will emulate the ups and downs of isolation and give people a unique psychological perspective of it. It is a short film that will also serve as a campaign for mental health awareness which we plan to distribute to various film festivals in the future for it to have a bigger reach.

Help us produce our film

Unfortunately, COVID19 has greatly affected the film/performance industry, as a lot of crew members and creatives have run out of projects to earn money from. This is what brings us here at airfunding, for the financial support we need to acquire the necessary equipment and of course help some members of the industry have an avenue to earn during these trying times.

We need about 1,000$ stipulated will mostly cover the costs for equipment (projected expense according to our canvass is 450$) the rest will be divided for professional fees, forms and certifications, transportation, location rental, and food for the crew and talents.

We hope you can help us take this story places, so it can comfort and inspire those who have gone through, or who are going through, the ordeals of quarantine. Let our film provide some consolation in these times of disarray.
