The Castro Pasto family came to you and knowing your high spirit of collaboration as people through this medium we allow ourselves to explain the situation we are going through; On June 1 my parents were diagnosed positive for COVID and then all my family presented symptoms, in total 12 people including 4 girls had been infected, after 2 days my father named Angel Hernan Castro Alarcon 59 years, had severe symptoms such as tachycardia, So we decided to go to a health center and not belonging to the IESS, the hospitals did not want to receive him and my father's health was deteriorating as the hours went by and getting much more complicated. We decided to take him to the private hospital in the anguish in which we found ourselves, my father was hospitalized and his health was critical. Two days later he was transferred to intensive care because his lungs had collapsed. He remained in intensive care for 43 days with a reserved prognosis. We were informed daily of the progress of his health, and the days went by, some good and some bad; on July 23, 2020, my father was discharged from the hospital. 700 dollars and in order for my father to leave the health center we had to pay 15% of the debt.
