I want to study Art & Animation but I need a new PC!

Hi!

I introduce myself, my name is Ordyeliz, I’m living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I would like to study 3D modeling and illustration

I came from Venezuela looking for opportunities to improve and expand my horizons, I would like to study 3D modeling and illustration, when I was living in Venezuela I took a Blender 3D course and I loved it!

In the last few years I have been practicing my drawing skills with tutorials or exercises like Draw a Box, with all the free material that I could find to learn because I can't afford paid courses or a career, but I also need to have a computer with better specs to do it and sadly I'm not being able to save money for both because it would take too much time.

Following my dreams

I love video games since I was a little girl, one of the first Christmas gifts I can remember was the SNES and that was the beginning of a hobby that I kept for many years, also others a bit similar such as watching animation, anime and read comics.

My family has liked a lot of art in different areas, I decided to go to a route that was closer to my hobbies and my family has been supporting me, although currently I do not work in anything related (I am a cashier in a small store) But I'm not giving up on entering that work area!

My loyal laptop

I currently have an Asus laptop with an Intel Celeron N2815 1.8GHz processor and 4GB of RAM, even with all the years I've been using this PC it has helped me a lot. Despite being faithful, working with it has become a bit hard, because of the software and hardware updates, rendering not very complex models can take more than an hour, in order to see the state of the modeling I must render often to see the result which means that it takes days on any project and due to my schedule that can become too much time.

Years of savings

Even though I work, the salary I have is not really very high, I can afford rent, groceries and other expenses. I want to save to buy a Desktop PC with all the technical specs that my career as a 3D designer demands, but the reality is that it would take me years since I also have to save for the courses and be able to study!
