Requesting help for survival

Hello friends!

My name is Suchithra Kalarikkal (all of my friends and relatives call me Astha). I am a 25 year old woman working in an LGBTQI organization based in Bangalore. I am originally from Kerala, and I have been living in Bangalore for the last six years. I have been facing a huge financial crisis for the last six months due to the COVID restrictions, and my working class background.  I live in a rented house in Bangalore. My partner is a Trans Man (Transgender Man) and it's been only one year since he left his home.  He doesn't have a job yet  as he is still in the process of obtaining his identity cards and documents (it is very difficult in India for Trans people to get these). I am the only person in our household who is working.

My parents are in Kerala and both of them are elderly, over 70 years old.  My mother has been an Asthma patient for the last 25 years and was in treatment. But now her situation has grown much worse and the doctor said she has a heart infection.  In the pat 6 months she has been admitted in the hospital four times and every time it costs 20k - 40k. My siblings also share the expense, but they are struggling to survive just like me. This COVID crisis has  affected us really badly. On Sept. 9, she was admitted to hospital again. For the last 5-6 months she has had to take external oxygen whenever she was wheezing, but not continuously. Now the doctor says that after her discharge she will have to be on oxygen all the time to survive. One oxygen cylinder costs 750/- Indian rupees and it only lasts for two days.
