My mother has just been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer

I will be straight to the point. My mother has just been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer of the breast. This has been affecting all of us in the family.

In all honesty, the days have not been the kindest to us this year. First, my grandmother was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and is essentially on her deathbed, and now this comes along. You want to stay positive but there will be things that happen in life that knock you back down and you feel like you can't go on anymore. I feel that's true even to a small extent for everyone, sad as it is to say. But nevertheless, we all have the ability to bounce back stronger than what knocked us down. 

I say this because my mother is the strongest person I know and an absolute model of a human being who puts others before herself, especially if family is involved, as she was the one personally taking care of our grandmother in her worst days. We need to have her in our life and this absolute devil of a disease is going to cut her life short if we don't do more to help. 

As I have just been laid off due to covid-19 related issues affecting our workplace, I currently do not have the means to support my mother more financially than is necessary. The amount I am humbly requesting is to help pay off the additional biopsies mom needs to determine exactly how far the cancer cells have spread and to see if they have already affected her organs. It would help out so much while I am currently searching for another job. I know that there would be more expenses related to surgery and chemo thereafter but this is already a huge amount to ask for, I feel.

It would mean the world to all of us in the family if anyone could consider helping us keep our mother in our lives to give us strength, even when she herself is in constant pain and staying strong for our sakes.
