I want to obtain my grade 12 so I can study for my diploma.

My name is Jadin, I’m just an ordinary 21-year-old boy from a town in South Africa called Port Elizabeth also known Nelson Mandela Bay.

Writing this is actually hard for me, I’ve always tried to be independent and help where I can because there are always good people in this world that make a difference in each and everyone’s life ?

My life journey

All my life since I can remember I’ve always loved cooking and always felt I belong in the kitchen whether it was my gran showing me all the tricks or just me experimenting from watching cooking shows or reading recipe books,

I’ve always said and still do I belong in a kitchen that’s where I am the happiest because food brings everyone together no matter what race, religion, sexuality, or gender is.

? Twice in my life, I was taken out of school because my dad didn’t have the money so when I started working as a waiter at the Radisson Blu in December 2019

Help me to finish my GED and enroll a diploma program

While I worked as a waiter, I thought here is my chance to study my GED through Pass GED Academy which is a study guide to help us pass your test to obtain a GED (Foreign Grade 12)

I even bought a laptop to study with but sadly the pandemic caused me to lose my job. I went into a bad depression, I gave up on studying, I failed a test and one test alone cost 75$ (there are 4 tests). to find out what the GED is you can use www.ged.com

Then my laptop broke. I’ve been trying to look for work but it scares in S.A. The study guide is only til Feb I still need to write 4 tests, I used a loan to pay for my study guide which I need to pay back.

Usage of the funds

I need about $1,500 that will be used as :

• Bank transfer fees - R1920

• GED Study guide loan - R4000/

• GED Tests- 4x R1300+ 1 failed test = R6500

• GED Pre Tests - 4x R100 = R400

• Laptop- R8000

• Travel costs- R500

• Social Marketing Ad- R250

• Savings - R2430

• Total: R24000/$1500

I’m not going to give up!!! I will finish my GED before FEB, I will obtain my Grade 12 & I will apply at college to do my diploma in hospitality AND I WILL BE THE NEXT GORDAN RAMSEY!!! ✨?
