Home based play for children and youth

Hi, I am Patrick kumi a founder of similar ground a Community based organization, we operate in Bidibidi refugee settlement in Uganda. 

Problem. 

In March the president of the republic of Uganda ordered for a closer of all schools and other gathering places as a preventive major to slow the spread of corona virus, since then up to date there's no clear information on when schools will reopen. 

Children and youth are psychological traumatized since they are not allowed to gather in one place, visit friends, go for prayers, schools, they have no where to go and play, this is worse with a home with not morethan a child. 

Similar ground has been implementing home based play for children in an organizated manner with trained self dedicated personnel on areas of corona virus and child protection as form of providing psychosocial support to all children. So far 200 children and 156 youths have benefited from the activities. 

However we face a lot of challenges especially for purchasing materials used for playing. 

We need a support, we will be using the money to buy playing materials, soap for washing hands especially for the children after playing and book including pencil for the children to draw their stories. 

We kindly need a total budget of 300 USD by the end of November 2020 for us to reach out our targeted number of 1000 children and 500 youths
