Hi there!

My name is Aira and I am the eldest of three siblings.

Difficult times during pandemic

Long-story-short, we're currently about to be evicted from our home of more than a decade because of events that have befallen us due to the pandemic.

I live in the Philippines, my mom is a housewife, my two brothers are still in school, and my father is a seaman.

Until recently, both I and my dad had jobs that barely sustained us, but because of the pandemic, I've been laid off and my father's entire crew is being sent back to the Philippines because of health security issues.

We have nobody to go to for help, and if we lose the house, we'll be out on the streets in the midst of the quarantine that got us in this pickle in the first place.

I and my father are the only ones who make money in the family, but we've just both been laid off, so we need funds to at least pay off October bills and rent.

We ask of you kind souls to please lend me a helping hand. I don't want my parents stressed to death anymore, and I want to keep my brothers safe and ensured continued education.

Help us to overcome this difficult situation

We need the money before the 15th of October...it's a very close call, we only needing $200 for this month's dues. After that, I'm hoping to get a job again, so that we don't need to ask for money from others anymore.

I know, but that's only because I was determined to find a job before our taxes and the monthly rent that's already overdue.

Alas, I didn't have much luck in that area, and so I am here. That is my story.
