I dream of being a radio host

Hi! How are you?

My name is Mario (Mike for friends) I am 38 years old, I am from Montevideo, Uruguay.

Since I was 11 years old, I discovered my vocation,! The locution ! with this project, I need your support to raise $ 670 to carry out a course in radio locution.

A dream that is hampered

I always dreamed and said that I would go to study for it, only that the turns of life took me away from that path, in most cases, due to financial problems.

In 2010 I decided to fulfill once and for all my dream and reason for work happiness. Only for reasons (known only to the universe), I suffered a hearing loss in the right ear (partial hearing loss) and tinnitus (ringing in the said ear)

My goal was dimmed and for the first time in my life, I thought about giving up my dream, resign myself to the fact that everything did not pass from a wish, from that distant 11-year-old boy.

I don't want to give up on my dream

As time went by, I kept noticing a void that could not be filled, because when one plants a dream, no matter how much it withers, its roots will always be there, deep down, waiting to be watered with little drops of encouragement, hope, hard work, training, and commitment.

Those little drops were received from professionals that I was getting to know through social networks, who with great vocation and humility shared their knowledge in a selfless and freeway. Today, I am ready to fulfill my goal and dream, "study Radio Locution and get a diploma !!!".

I know perfectly well that I have a good voice for it (I clarify, I am aware that there are no bad voices, I mean to have a healthy and capable voice). And I am also clear about my defects, I want to improve my diction, breathing, neutral Spanish, etc.). I want to overcome my nerves, my insecurities, be able to exercise and not only work because it is necessary, but also because "I WILL LOVE WHAT I WILL DO !!!).

Help me to join the course in radio locution.

The training for which I ask for your help lasts 5 months, they are 20 classes of 90 minutes, taught by referents of the local environment in a serious, respectable and experienced place.

The radio locution course will spend about 670$ in total, and I hope I could really participate in it.

The world is going through a very big health and economic crisis, however, I am not willing to give up my hopes and goals, "let's make adversity our own. strength."
