Please Help Me Pay My University Fees | South Africa

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Veerasamy and I am raising funds for my university fees.

I have always loved fashion and beauty and I am lucky enough to be studying for my dream career at a fashion university, however, the fees are extremely expensive. I had extended my curriculum to over 4 years instead of 3 so that the fees are better spread out for my parents, they are still battling to pay them. Along with the expensive fees, the subjects I do require expensive tools and equipment (a makeup kit, a professional camera, a laptop) and so that is causing extra financial stress and pressure on my parents. This year, I have gotten above 70% for all of my assignments, although since August my parents haven't been able to pay my fees and so I'm not allowed to see my results. This is a pity because I put so much effort and hard work into my work but I can't see my outcome.

I have a sister that is also attending university and another sister who is still attending high school, so there is an abundance of money my parents have to pay for education. My mother is a teacher and a few years ago she had lost her job, leaving all the finances to my dad - it was very tough on us, and still is the amount of years my mother didn't have a job still affects us. Even though she has a job now, there's only so little one can do with a teacher's salary.

Throughout my high school career and this year, I have started side businesses and applied for jobs everywhere but I still don't have enough money to cover 3% of my university fees.

I ask, anyone who has the finances to help me out, please do. I don't want to burden my parents anymore or get into any debt and your aid will help me immensely.
