About Macóndika

Macóndika is the platform for readers and writers where books can be uploaded, bought, read, and discussed, as well as writers can have novel creation courses at hand from the basic level to the advanced level, all this always keeping at hand moderators specialized in helping both the reader and the writer.

The idea of ​​Macóndika came to my mind after having worked with literary platforms such as Wattpad and Booknet, the latter by contract, where I was paid to upload my books on it

I have more than nine thousand followers on this platform who read me internationally and six years of experience as a writer.

How's Macóndika was born

I have more than nine thousand followers on this platform who read me internationally and six years of experience as a writer. Thanks to this I have a wide knowledge of how the online literary market moves that is recently being discovered by publishers.

One morning, I imagined what the perfect platform would be for a reader and writer: that there would be someone to advise them when preparing books, that the writer was well paid for selling their books, a platform where I could communicate with my readers and that they could do it with me, a place where I could feel comfortable socializing with people who have the same taste for literature!

And that's how Macóndika was born.

At this moment, Macóndika has a whole group of people who work from various parts of Latin America to be able to put it on the market in January 2021 (Chile, Argentina, Mexico, and the United States, of course, not including myself and others from the team that live in Colombia). We have more than thirty writers who are being advised by literature professionals to polish their books and that, once they are ready, they can be published in Macóndika when the platform is opened.

We want to expand Macóndika to be known more

At this moment Macóndika is in a crucial phase, everything is ready! After a long development journey, where we had ups and downs to be able to complete such a complex business idea, there is only one step left for all of Latin America to know it. But we have a small challenge to overcome and that is that a larger budget is needed than Macóndika currently has to execute the marketing plan.

In order to reach our target audience, we need to advertise on social networks (since here is our potential client) and this requires paying to reach them concurrently and make ourselves known since we will be a new platform in the online literary market.

How the funds will be used for

We are clear that, once Macóndika enters the literary market, it will mark a before and after in it, since we know what all young writers need who, like me, want to live off their passion which is writing, that they want to make their books known to the public, but they don't have the tools to do so The demand is so great that platforms like Wattpad have 80 million writers and readers looking for the solution to their literary needs.

We have a deadline to get the budget until the beginning of December, with an estimated collection of 1,500 USD.
