Please help me save my remaining eyesight

Hello everyone, my name is Leeford Salire 47, from the Philippines. I'm a type 2 Diabetic. I had an impacted right eye due to a sporting accident in 2006. Since then I have been surviving with my left eye. I was an online English teacher since 2017, However on December of 2018 I noticed a bump in my left eyesight I immediately went to an eye doctor who misdiagnosed it as a cataract  and asked if I can  let it mature however after 2 months my vision became worse and  I can no longer see well in the evening we went to an eye specialist and she diagnosed my case as a possible diabetic retinopathy so she referred me to a retina doctor who confirmed my eye problem, I immediately went into a laser treatment to slow down the progression of the damage. My retina doctor told me that a surgery called VITRECTOMY  may still save my remaining eyesight but the cost will be around Php 400,000.00 (Pesos) or $8260.00  in today's rate.
