Solar Lamps for Typhoon Rolly (Gori) Victims

Hello everyone,

I am Phillip Tan, a resident of Davao City. I served as a full-time missionary in the Philippines Naga Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1992-1994.

This helped me see and feel the warmth, generosity and hospitality of the Bicolanos despite all the calamities that strike the region on a regular basis, resulting to much poverty in the area.

Typhoon Rolly ravaged the Bicolanos, just a week after Typhoon Quinta

Typhoon Rolly (Goni), a super typhoon, one of the strongest in the world, ravaged major portion of the region, just a week after Typhoon Quinta (Molave) also caused flooding in many areas.

I need your support for disaster relief packages, benefiting 100 families

Food, Clothing, Hygiene, Shelter and basic items such as power are all major concerns at the moment.

We are targeting distribution of food and solar lamps for at least 100 affected families in the area.
