Baby Eli’s journey to recovery

Hi everyone,

Last November 6, 2020, I gave birth to our second baby, Elijah Franc “Eli” via emergency CS. I was supposed to give birth pa ng November 14 but due to pre-term contractions, consistent pain sa previous “tahi” since bridge position din si baby our OB decided to schedule it a week earlier which is Nov 7. Since Nov 7 na un schedule we had our last check up Nov 6 morning only to find out na hindi na ako aabutin pa ng tomorrow and same day din 10pm nagschedule na kami ng CS ko.

Everything was ready until the unexpected happened. During my delivery, nagkaron na ng complications si Baby Eli. Ngcord loop na si baby and nasakal na, and since bridge position nahirapan sya hugutin more reason para ngstay and nakainom pa ng fluid. We lost him for awhile maybe around 20-30 seconds. I heard his soft cry for super saglit and then nawala, nawala kasi tumahimik sa OR and then after awhile tska ko na lang ulit narinig iyak ng baby namin. Alam ko kasi gising ako the whole time. Naconfirm lang when me and my husband Ron exchanged stories the next day and our doctors explained everything na nangyari during the operation. 

As of writing, Baby Eli was diagnosed with newborn pneumonia and is now staying sa NICU Healthserv Los Banos.

We are writing and creating this gofundme project since we have exhausted all possible financial means (savings, insurance, nakapanghiram na din ng pera sa family) and yet kulang na kulang pa rin. We have prepared for this pregnancy and for the people na kilala kami its the last resort na po namin but since exhausted all possible means we are asking for your help to raise enough funds to help us settle un kukulangin sa magiging bill namin sa hospital.

As of todays update unsure pa rin po kung makakayanan ng madischarge sa Saturday,Nov 14, ni Baby Eli coz we are just relying for his daily results and updates.

We know that everyone is doing their best to survive sa araw araw and that you might also have your own personal matters to attend to so any bit of help that you can extend to us and to our Baby Eli will be greatly appreciated.
