Health and Hope: Anzoátegui

My name is Gabriel Mayz, I live in Chile. Three years ago I left my homeland, Puerto la Cruz - Anzoátegui - Venezuela, due to the humanitarian crisis.

When I left my homeland there was a difficult situation, and honestly my plan was to return after a couple of years away, but as time went by everything got worse, and I know that many of us decided not to return because of that.

I started this campaign inspired by the NGO called PROVEA, they made a live program on Youtube showing the precarious situation of the health system in Anzoátegui and that called my attention, there is a shortage of water, no electricity and health workers do not have the basic inputs to care for patients or protect themselves against Covid-19, A large part of the health workers have migrated due to the humanitarian crisis and those who remain are fighting to save lives even without the necessary equipment for their protection and hygiene, so I asked myself how can I help? .

The funds raised in this campaign will be used to buy and send biosafety equipment to hospitals in my city, latex gloves, masks, alcohol gel, among other supplies.
