Help Us Extend Papa’s Days With Us

Hello everyone! My name is April and I am a Nurse from one of the government hospitals here in the Philippines. 

I belong to a fairly small family: My mom and 3 of my siblings, My Tita and her 2 children and my Auncle, whom we all call “Papa” with his 4 kids.

We all grew up calling my Auncle “Papa” as he was the nearest father figure we can turn. I remember  Papa would always tell us “Dibale ng hindi mayaman, basta masaya ka”. 

Hindi po kame mayaman, but we get by. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer metastatic to the brain. He never complained until recently regarding his condition. He was still well and able to bike around 1st week of November.

With the pandemic going on, the natural disasters and health conditions deterring our chance of spending more time with him, we humbly ask for your help to extend our Papa’s days with us. As long as we can, we will fight with him. 

His doctors (Neuro and Onco in PGH) asked us to buy his palliative medicines which needs to be replenished every 2 weeks. I will buy them personally in PGH everytime as I get a reasonable discount.  We are always working on to provide but would like to humbly ask for help from your kind heart. 

Please help us keep our Papa as long as the good Lord allows.
