Identity VerifiedIn Burundi, hunger gnaws at the soul. In this country recovering from conflict, street children often do not have a family, nor regular meals. With this Covid-19 pandemic ,things got worse for the vulnerable living in Urban areas especially these living in flooding prone areas that have been hit so hard. This is why we are organizing this fundraising event for the Christmas for Children to offer these children and their community a reason to celebrate Christmas. Feeling accepted and cared for gives them an opportunity to have a better social life and integrate in school and access basic lives rights as rights to Food, water and shelter as we celebrate the International Children's day.
