Covid-19 hospital funds for my grandfather Cresencio Yabut

As we all find ways to live with the challenges brought about by the global pandemic, some of us will still face great difficulties especially when our loved ones are involved. In my case, three members of my family tested positive for Covid-19, two of whom have already recovered, and one still currently admitted in the hospital.

My grandfather, 82, is currently confined in the ICU of PRI (October 22,2020-present) undergoing various treatments including dialysis, tracheostomy, blood transfusions and medication with the experimental antiviral drug Remdesivir. We want to provide the best care we can for my grandfather. However, it has presented us with financial liabilities. As of November 16,2020 his hospital running bill have already reached 2,034,697.70 pesos (not including his doctors fees).

My grandfather have already undergone:

-4 sessions of Hemoperfusion (55,000 pesos/session)

-5 doses of Remdesivir (18,000 pesos/dose)

-5 doses of Somatostatin (5,850 pesos/dose)

Diagnostic test to be done

-Mesenteric Angiogram (Estimate 100,000+ pesos)
