My grandfather needs surgery of a tumor

My grandfather Paito (Ibrahim Morales), my friend and housemate during the last 4 years that I was in Venezuela, is suffering from an anal tumor that has obstructed him, for that reason he has to have a Colostomy + Biopsy + a series of tests pre and post-operative that will determine if the tumor is malignant or benign. In the Red Cross of Valencia the cost of the first 2 things is $ 900 (the rest is more spending $) but there is a problem: We are against time since they go on Christmas holidays on December 12, so, there are 2 options :

1) Collect the money and do this before 12/12 in the CR of Valencia (in another private place the budget is tripled)

2) Expect them to resume activities in January with the risk that Paito's intestines will block during this wait and God knows what emergency he will face

I think that from now on there is not much more to explain, imagine my position to write this with a bit of shame but first it is the health of my grandfather.
