With two surgeries you save Manuel

I am an unemployed grandson seeking support for my dear grandfather.

My grandfather Manuel Esteban Acendra is a 75-year-old Colombian peasant, with his effort and dedication he fought to move us forward. I have been with him since I was two months old, since my parents did not have the financial capacity to take care of me.

In 2017 and 2018 my grandfather experienced a very hard event for him, the death of his two children. Since then, he has been left homeless, without housing or financial support, suffers from Alzheimer's and cataracts, and requires guidance to move from one place to another and to fulfill his basic needs.

Without help

Due to physical exertion, my grandfather suffers from a testicular hernia, a disease that generates severe pain and discomfort, he constantly urinates blood.

We have tried several options, but we have not found medical help, my grandfather had my financial support, but since the COVID 19 situation I have been unemployed without being able to provide him with help to start treatment and surgery. On many occasions my grandfather has experienced lying down without eating and enduring the pain of a testicular hernia.

Worse and worse diseases

Every time Alzheimer's generates problems in my grandfather, he attacks himself, hallucinates and forgets people's names, due to his cataract he is easily misplaced and without knowing where he is, hitting himself with objects and entering into total depression.

Testicular hernia grows every day due to the lack of treatment and food, infections in his body and skin are constant, I fear that this could be prostate cancer and he could not save his life.

The cost of operations for testicular hernia and cataracts ranges between $ 5,000 and $ 6,000 USD, being unemployed it has been impossible to cover so many expenses.

Please help me to give back his health and joy

Nobody wants to see a family member suffer, so I have turned to their help.
