Bridging the healthcare gap between rural and urban areas.

MY name is David Delali Ametepe and I am the founder/CEO of Access Health GH Foundation. I live in Ghana.

Ghana as a country has more rural communities than it does towns and cities but unfortunately, healthcare delivery systems are focused on urban areas and most rural areas are neglected. Some rural folks sometimes have to journey long distances just so they can access a health facility. It is for this reason that I formed this not-for-profit organization so as to even the playing field for these rural folks by bringing healthcare to their doorsteps for free.

I would therefore like to raise an amount of $1000 to aid in the acquisition of drugs and some few medical equipments that can better aid our work as we move through these rural communities and deliver healthcare to them.

FUNDS will be needed by 31/12/2020 as strong January 2021, we would be embarking on a series of medical out reaches through some selected communities in the northern region (Ghana).

Out of the estimated $1000, $700 will be used to fund the acquisition of a centrifuge, a portable patient monitor and portable SPO2's, BP apparatus etc to further aid us in the fulfilment of the organizational vision. The remaining $300 will be used to acquire some drugs such as antimalarials, and other test kits that would be needed.
