Buikwe borehole community construction

Hello everyone,

My name is Roy Kibirige. I'm the director of Fortress kids foundation Uganda and I would like to fundraise 1,500 dollars for community borehole construction in Buikwe district.

When clean water access becomes reliable, everyone benefits

When clean water access becomes reliable, everyone benefits. They can work or go to school instead of spending hours fetching surface water. They take the money they save from purchasing firewood to boil water and invest it in a small business. They can spend their days heathy and empowered to pursue their dreams.

Clean water access means less diarrheas' disease, less stunting and malnutrition, and fewer deaths—particularly of children under 5, for whom diarrhea is the 2nd leading cause of death worldwide.

And when people have more abundant access to clean water, they can have better hygiene, which is critical to preventing disease.

Buikwe community need your support to get clean water access
